These antique beauties like knives or even simple cutting edge objects like blade sets, scissors etc. may actually indicate a turmoil in a marriage.
Artwork or home decor:
There’s no harm in gifting a gorgeous piece of art to be displayed on your friend’s new home unless you know the couple’s tastes well. There’s no use spending your money on something that you consider a ‘beauty’ but your friend and his better half don’t consider worth making a part of their home decor.
Mirrors:
There’s a common belief regarding mirrors that they cause misfortune if broken. You obviously do not want to take a chance, right? Since you would want to wish them a marriage that remains forever and not something that symbolizes selfishness and vanity, so, it’s better to stay away from mirrors.
Honeymoon excursion:
Unless you are aware of the couple’s honeymoon plans, you shouldn’t go on presenting them a honeymoon excursion of your choice. It would rather be a bothersome trip where they are bound to do something that you’ve planned. Leave it up to the lovebirds to choose their own honeymoon location and plan it their way.
